Day 1 | Welcome to Milan
Departure from Sofia Airport to Milan, Italy. Arrival at Bergamo Airport. Transfer to the hotel in Milan. Free time or upon request: walking tour of Milan with a guide in Bulgarian, during which we will get acquainted with the history, culture and the most famous landmarks of the city.
The walk begins at the magnificent Duomo Cathedral – one of the symbols of Milan and an impressive example of Gothic architecture. If desired, we will have the opportunity to climb to the roof terrace and enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
We continue to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II - a magnificent architectural complex from the 19th century, famous for its glass dome, rich decoration, mosaics and elegant shops and cafes.
Next is La Scala Square and the famous La Scala Opera House - one of the most prestigious opera stages in the world, associated with the names of great composers and performers.
The walk continues to the Sforza Castle - an impressive Renaissance fortress, which has become an important cultural and museum complex today. From here we will head to Sempione Park - the green heart of Milan, where we will enjoy a peaceful walk among alleys, green spaces and beautiful views.
At the end of the park we will see the Triumphal Arch of Peace – one of the impressive monuments of Milan.
Free time or optional: a walk in the Naviglio district – one of the most atmospheric areas of the city, known for its canals, cozy restaurants, cafes, galleries and bars. The area is a favorite place for an evening walk and a traditional Italian aperitif.

Day 2 | Milan

Free time or upon request: visit with a Bulgarian-language guide to the Santa Maria delle Grazie monastery - one of the most significant monuments of Renaissance art in Milan and a site on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The monastery's refectory houses the famous fresco "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, created in the late 15th century. We will learn about the history of the work and its importance for the development of Renaissance art.
Optional: a walk in the Brera district - the artistic heart of Milan, known for its picturesque streets, small squares, art galleries and cozy cafes. The area also houses the Pinacoteca di Brera - one of the most important art museums in Italy, housing works by great masters of European painting.
The afternoon continues with a walk in the modern part of Milan around Piazza Gae Aulenti - an impressive example of the city's modern architecture. We will also see the famous "Vertical Forest" complex (Bosco Verticale) - two residential towers covered with numerous trees and plants, which have become a symbol of modern Milan.
Free time or optional: a walk through the "Fashion Quarter" (Quadrilatero della Moda) - the prestigious shopping area of Milan, known for its boutiques of world fashion houses, elegant streets and luxurious atmosphere.
